Our events are 100% funded by our fabulous donors. Your gift keeps most of our events free of charge and provides places where trans folks can come take refuge in community. Donate through our website or through PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp.

Drop off these items at any Trans Joy in the Park event:
Gender-affirming, including chest binders and wigs
Trans-centric books and zines
Camp and event supplies, including tents and art materials

Our community is incredibly talented and giving. We’ve been lucky to have people offer up their services to raise funds for TransJoy KC several times in the past.

Event Supplies
From food and beverage to safety equipment, material costs make up the majority of our spending. You can also donate physical materials (see below).

Prints & Promotion
We have a continuous need for printing flyers, business cards, and promotional merch such as stickers and bags (the majority of which we hand-make ourselves!)

Admin & legal fees
This includes everything from website domain to business licensing, as well as the cost of working towards achieving our nonprofit status.

Paying trans folks
Our leadership team are all unpaid volunteers, but our events provide paid work to trans graphic designers, performing artists, caterers, and event venue owners.
