Trans Joy in the Park is the event that started it all. It is a space for transgender folks of all ages, backgrounds, and interests to get together as a community. Let's get together and nurture our joy to persist through all circumstances!
During good weather, we will be located in West Loose Park just past the tennis courts. In the case of rain or temperatures below 50 degrees, we will move to our weather backup location, trans-owned Goofball Sk8boards in Waldo.
No RSVP is required. Simply show up and say hi!

-Donation items for resource table: Trans-authored or trans-featured books/zines, gender-affirming accessories (current items needed: binding & tucking tape, wigs, breastplates/bra implants, and chest binders).
We bring:

-Craft activity kits curated by trans artist Lily Erb, courtesy of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
May craft kit: metal tooling
-Open mic: Share your poetry, music, or other encouragement to the community! Please consider this is a family-friendly event.

RESOURCE TABLE
Little Trans Library: Trans-authored and trans-featured books & zines for all ages. Take a book, leave a book! Feel free to bring any zines you would like distributed and pick up a copy of the Oracle. Return any books you "checked out" at a previous event, return at the next event.
Community Bulletin Board: Have a flyer or business card to share with the Trans Joy community? Bring it to pin on the bulletin board! This board is for Trans Joy community members to share information with each other, not for others to advertise to us.
Current resource items available: size large and XL chest binders, size XXL sports bras, clean HRT injection supplies for IM or SQ, KN95 and N95 masks, Narcan, fentanyl test strips, safer sex kits, minoxidil (hair loss prevention), tooth care kits, earplugs
